In the 2024 “I Built It Smarter” competition, Alex from Elanora, Gold Coast, showcased an impressive transformation of his outdoor space using Smartkits Australia’s insulated flyover roof. Aiming to maximize the stunning views over Tallebudgera Creek on a spacious 1,141 sqm block, Alex envisioned an expansive outdoor pavilion. 

The Smartkits team seamlessly installed the insulated flyover, enabling the continuation of surrounding works, including decking, commercial fans, an outdoor kitchen, and frameless pool fencing. This comprehensive upgrade created an additional living area overlooking the pool and creek, attracting significant interest during the property’s sale campaign. Remarkably, the property sold at auction for a suburb record of $3 million. Alex expressed gratitude for the support from QHI and plans to collaborate with them on future projects.
