What Help is available if I get stuck building my kit?
SmartKits Australia is 100% owned by the QHI Group of companies – licensed Builders. Which means we have many many years of building experience using the same products we supply to you every single day. Our internal team of tradesman are on hand to support you through the build. Can I Build a Smartkits in a Cyclonic Zone?
YES! We supply cyclonic-rated SmartKits to every part of the country. Our internal engineering and advanced design systems allow us the capability to meet your requirements.
Do you take care of the plans, council permits and relaxations needed to build my smartkit?
Every single SmartKit is engineered and compliant to the Australian building codes as well as the state that you are building the SmartKit in. This means that the engineering plans are 100% relevant and accurate for your area. SmartKits is a national business and we can provide Site Plans and even lodge your Building Approval documents on your behalf in most areas of Australia. We use 3rd Party Surveyors and local Councils where suitable to assist you in the best way possible.
What Help is available if I get stuck building my kit?
Every single 100% genuine Bluescope Steel SmartKit features the stunning 20-year warranty (conditions do apply depending on location) It’s very important to discuss your geographic location with your design consultant to clarify exactly what your warranty will be and if the correct steel products are being used in the application.
Can I Build a Smartkits in a Cyclonic Zone?
Depending on the time of the year, your location and demand, delivery estimates vary. For 90% of the year (not including December), new Smartkits can be delivered in 2-3 weeks in East Coast Metro areas, 3-4 weeks in regionals, and within 6 weeks everywhere in Australia (Except very remote areas of Nothern WA and the NT). We have seen improvements and delays decrease as 2022 goes on. We will always keep you informed on delivery dates, and most of our customers have been very happy with the time involved in receiving their new Smartkit.
Do you take care of the plans, council permits and relaxations needed to build my smartkit?
In some circumstances, we can manage the supply and install of all of our kits. To see if you qualify for a quote on this basis. Please visit our info page on the install services we offer.
